‘I Know,You Know!’
Now here is an annoying thing… Have you ever been in a situation when you are telling someone about something that you know is absolutely true? Where they just will not believe what you are saying and seem to be hell-bent on having an argument with you… None of us know about everything, but there are some things that we are quite knowledgeable about.
If you know about something for an absolute fact and someone keeps saying you are wrong, then it can really make you mad; proper mad. This is how quiet and rational people are turned into brutal savages! Yes, this can make the most placid of people want to kill and maim!!! Broken fingers, veins in your teeth and bruised windpipes can all become so very, very appealing.
Seriously though, if you are trying to share your knowledge with someone else and they just will not listen, then it can be absolutely infuriating. And we are all guilty of doing this at one time or another! ‘Oh, no! Not me!’ you may say. But have a think about it for a moment. I’ll bet you have done it in the past, just as I have.
Ideally, we should always listen to one another; even if we think that we know better ourselves. This is the only proper way to learn and it is also polite to listen to other people (even if they go on about something useless like Laser Hair Removal Manchester). If we go through our lives thinking that we always know about everything, then we are never going to learn about anything at all. Unfortunately for the rest of us, a number of people do exactly this. They are commonly known as ‘big heads’ and they are hugely irritating to be around! They are so incredibly clever, but they actually understand very little at all; especially how to have good manners.
