Does Petrol Prices Really Have To Be This High...Are They Scamming Us?

Most people have a tendency not to question what they are told. If the leaders of the world tell us something then we believe that it must be true. There is quite a lot of complacency in the world, and for this reason the oil giants of the world have taken advantage of the situation. They claim there is an oil shortage. I for one question this claim. Sure, the oil in the Middle East is now difficult to acquire, but there are numerous, untapped oil fields all around the world, specifically in Western and Northern Canada and Alaska, Africa, as well as in Australia. if fact a number of oil exploration companies have fund new and potentially viable field worldwide.

The oil giants tell us that since we have to conserve our oil reserves, prices must increase. But what they fail to tell you is that there is enough oil in reserve today to satisfy the world’s population for the next 20 years. 20 years! Red diesel suppliers say there is a shortage, but we can continue with the same wasteful ways we have been without any possible shortages. Couple the oil the world has in reserve with the aforementioned untapped oil fields. What we get is a more than ample supply of oil.

So why are petrol prices so high? Quite frankly, it is because we listen to people who control oil. They tell us we need to pay more for petrol because of a gas shortage. But there is no shortage. They are scamming us! They take their money because they know that the majority of the world’s citizens will not question their claims, hence the rise of petrol prices without any response from the masses. The amount of oil we have in reserve and the potential for future oil should allow prices to drop to what we saw 20 years ago, but that will never happen.
